By now, you are more than likely aware that SEGA and Paramount have announced a third Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The announcement came early last year. However, the movie isn’t scheduled to premiere until December of 2024. Because of this, the movie hasn’t begun filming as of yet.

Well, that is about to change. It is being reported that filming of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is going to begin in August. In fact, not only is it supposed to begin on August 31st, but it was confirmed that the filming will be taking place in London. You can see a tweet relaying the news down below.

  1. God i hope it just ends up being a full on adaption of Adventure 2, it would be so gloriously stupid. Or merge both Adventure plots together so the climax is Sonic and Shadow fighting Chaos in space.

  2. I gotta ask but is the source (not the Twitter post, the FTIA link they are crediting) legit?
Granted I don’t check up on movie production news as much as I used to anymore but I don’t think I ever even heard of FTIA until now. How credible have they been in the past?
I also can’t find that FTIA site on any other credibility-checking sites.
