Level-5 reconfirms that a new Yo-Kai Watch game is in the works

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has reconfirmed news that the company is continuing to work on a new game in the once hugely popular YoKai Watch series. While Mr. Hino reiterated that the unnamed game is under development, an official reveal won’t be made by the company until they are ready to showcase the game. The Yo-Kai Watch franchise is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, and as part of the spectacle, the Japanese company has produced a special 10th anniversary website, which you can check out here.

    1. Somewhat out of topic. I wanted to pick up Yokai Watch 3 for the 3ds the other day, and that sucker is going for $450 😖 these prices for these games are insane.

      1. damn that really sucks i got it 2 years ago for like 40
just emulate it using citra ive done it and its amazing

  1. They refuse to port Yo-kai Watch 4 to the west when that released and complained the west doesn’t buy their games.
How the hell can expect to sell your games in the west if you don’t even release them in the west, especially the one game everyone wanted during a time when it would have been perfect to release a pokemon competitor, not to mention YKW4 was literally shown off to the western audience during E3 and was announced to release in the west only to turn out to be lies.
I have zero respect for LVL5, as good as some of their games are the decisions their management make are borderline idiotic, I won’t be surprised if they do something stupid again and abandon the west again over another dumb decision.
