The latest edition of the revered UK gaming publication, EDGE magazine, has arrived with subscribers and this month’s edition contains a number of reviews with the most high profile of those being Final Fantasy XVI. The latest Final Fantasy game received a 7/10 from the team at EDGE, which probably won’t please Square Enix. Here’s the latest review scores from EDGE magazine Issue 387:
- Final Fantasy XVI: 7
- C-Smash VRS: 6
- Oxenfree II: Lost Signals: 5
- Aliens: Dark Descent: 8
- Trepang2: 7
- Master Detective Archives: Rain Code: 6
- Synapse: 7
- Roto Force: 8
- Dordogne: 7
- Venba: 8

They lowered FF16 score because there are no gay/black characters in the game.
Bahamut dominant is gay, you haven’t really played that game.
It’s more like the entire game isn’t about the ABC soup community (ain’t bothering with naming the entire letters as it’s longer than the Street Fighter II subtitle). Square-Enix does support them but doesn’t force that down our throats, if it’s not integral to the story they won’t bother. Same goes for “diversity” and me being Mexican I don’t care, sure it’s neat but not when it’s forced.
OR, and here’s a thought, they just didn’t like the game as much as you, bub. :/ It’s happens, I know.
FF16 was banned in Saudi Arabia because “it has gay characters” The Prince Dion Lesage is gay.
You know something is wrong with your ratings system when a game like FFXVI is given a lower score than an indie game about cooking. That’s no knock against Venba, I’m sure it’s a great game, but come on. What trolls.
They simply did not enjoy the game as much as you did. besides that will be Stickman Hook one of the most attention-grabbing games
