Nintendo Switch firmware updated to Version 16.1.0 (patch notes)

Lately, Nintendo hasn’t really been doing much with the Switch’s firmware. The last few updates, including the version 16.0.0 update, contained very little new additions. Not only that, but there hasn’t been a new firmware update since May. Since then, it has only been a couple of “rebootless” updates.

Well, Nintendo has finally decided to release a new firmware update for the console. It puts the Switch’s firmware at version 16.1.0. As for the official patch notes, once again, the only thing Nintendo mentions is that there are “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.

  1. There is so much room to improve the switch as far as how games run docked and hh. Now we know switch 2 is in development. But stability improvements have been going on for years. I mean even themes never got any love
