Nintendo is preparing to reveal more of Super Mario Wonder in a special Nintendo Direct which begins Thursday, 31st August at 7am PT/ 3pm UK time. The Super Mario Wonder Nintendo Direct will be roughly 15 minutes long and should provide us with a more in depth look at Mario’s long-awaited upcoming 2D adventure.
Dang this decofirms super Mario wonder getting a long segment in the September direct, they must have a lot to show for this game for it to be getting a 15 min direct, no 2d Mario game has every recieved a direct so I’m assuming this games gonna be about as big as Mario Odyssey content wise maybe.
That means more Nintendo switch units are going to be sold, damn it…
I’d bet the reason there’s a separate direct for this is they’re gonna reveal the new voice actor for Mario

Part of this Direct is probably to address Charles’ new Mario Ambassador role and play his special message to fans/Nintendo/Miyamoto, plus Miyamoto speaking about the future of Mario and thanking Charles, and then possibly touching on the new voice(s) and of course showing gameplay and announcing/showing off new details about the game. They said they’d post the video message, but the Direct could still be considered a post.
