It’s looking like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be next Fortnite collaboration

Fortnite, whether you love it or hate it, has had some excellent collaborations with major brands and that’s not likely to stop anytime soon. The next collaboration in the popular free-to-play game appears to be everyones favourite Turtles, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While it has not been confirmed by Epic Games, Twitter leaker leaksxdefiant has suggested that it will be the Ninja Turtles appearing in Chapter 4 Season 4. The Turtles are riding high at the moment with their new animated movie and the first DLC for Shredder’s Revenge launches tomorrow. Thanks to ddman12 for the concise list:

• A codename for a yet-to-be-released skin in the files is “FungusNinja”. While codenames don’t always have relevance to the skin, they do sometimes in the form of collabs (For example, the codename for the Anakin Skywalker skin was “PlotTwist”, referring obviously to the plot twist from The Empire Strikes Back)
• The file is 7 MB, meaning that it is most likely one skin with multiple edit styles (It could be a skin that lets you play as all four turtles)
• A sewer location was found on the Chapter 4 map a few seasons ago, which, when approached, would make very odd sound effects. In that same area, there is now also a pizza shop with an arcade machine inside.
• DLC for the TMNT game “Shredder’s Revenge” is planned to launch tomorrow, as well as the digital release for the Mutant Mayhem movie launching later this week.
• TMNT has already collabed with Mediatonic’s Fall Guys, another Epic Games owned studio, with its TMNT collab setting to leave the Fall Guys item shop on the 31st.
• An Upcoming Perk in Fortnite is called “Ninja Training” in the files. A consumable pizza item is also set to return this season. (Note that in Chapter 4 Season 3, when the Terminator Skin released, the lever action shotgun was also added to the game, meaning that Epic will sometimes add content relating to the skin)
