Embracer Group has been under a lot of criticism as of late. The company sought a $2,000,000,000 partnership deal which ultimately failed, but it was later discovered that this deal was going to be with the Saudi-funded Savvy Games. They have also been buying a lot of video gaming companies, only to handle their new acquisitions rather poorly.
For example, one of their acquisitions was Volition Games. Volition Games is well known for being the developers of franchises such as Red Faction and Saints Row. Sadly, Embracer Group has decided to close Volition Games, effective immediately. You can see a tweet relaying the news down below.
