Series creator Ed Boon tells BBC Newsbeat the hybrid console’s version will “absolutely be getting an update”.

“And a number of the the concerns of the issues that had come up will absolutely be addressed,” he says.

  1. What’s up with these companies releasing broken ass games and then fixing them with updates? It’s like they don’t even quality check them before release any more.

      1. Mobile phones cost significantly more, too. When the switch came out, it was far more powerful than any cellphone u could get for $300.

    1. Sadly, they have deadlines by publishers, who answer to shareholders. These games continue to get sales, so they’ll keep doing this until they’re certain it’s costing them money, sadly.

  2. “It would have been ideal for us to have released the version that we absolutely wanted.”

What exactly does this mean? 🤔

    1. It means that oftentimes it’s isn’t up to developers/designers WHEN a game will ship. If Ed boon says “I would like for the game to release in this time frame” and Warnerbros say “no it will release x amount of months earlier”. What do you think happens?

    2. It means we’re working with limited tech on Switch, so our hands are somewhat tied.

It could also be referring to Switch 2, or maybe Switch 2. It’s possible when this game started development Nintendo had mentioned a Switch Pro to certain developers. But then the chip shortage happened and changed Nintendo’s plans, thus changing 3rd parties plans too.
