Disney Dreamlight Valley won’t be going free-to-play as originally planned

It is fair to say that Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a success with its beautiful visuals and charming cast of characters. The original plan was paid early access, and then for the fantasy life sim to go free-to-play. However, it turns out that won’t be the case as Disney Dreamlight Valley will continue to be priced as a premium title, presumably because it has proven popular with fans. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a joint collaboration between Disney and Gameloft and the early access period for the game will end on Tuesday, 5th December.

  1. Cool, I was waiting for it to go Free to Play but now me and my 2 kids dont have to play it at all. My wife bought it to try out and we decided that once it went FTP we would all play it. Way to go Gameloft on False Advertising.
