SEGA has talked a little more about its so-called Super Game, which is set to make its debut in 2026. Many have been wondering what exactly a Super Game is, and it seems it’s a fancy word for a high-budget live service game, otherwise known as Games as a Service. Titles such as Fortnite, Genshin Impact, and Destiny are all Games as a Service titles that have proved to be a hit with consumers. SEGA’s first Super Game will be based on classic dormant franchises in its extensive portfolio, such as Jet Set Radio or Crazy Taxi, both of which Bloomberg said were in active development in a report a year or so ago. The Super Game would be an online-driven experience across multiple gaming platforms. As expected, the company remains tight-lipped about the details of the so-called Super Game, so it will be interesting to see what is unveiled.

I would love to play Crazy Taxi for the Nintendo Switch, it’s been a very long time since I’ve last played it, Make it happen Nintendo.
But if you want to ride in the fast taxi with 4 wheels you have to pay extra for it.
Thanks Corporate Commander of Sega, everyone wanted another “live service” game, who cares about paying bills, food, shelter, phone, internet, mandatory subscription fees on consoles just to play online ect rigth?
Clearly none of that is important when considering low to mid income earners during a time of financial crisis and an incoming global market crash, am I right!?
Let’s head straight into milking what’s left from everyone with another billionth microtransaction riddled live service game that was obviously in dire need by no one, surely that will pull in the whales from the other billion live service games that whales already poured trillions in to build their characters or teams right?😒
The game industry should collapse and every single major company is in dire need of going under that way these investors, board of directors, CEOs, and upper management will lose their jobs and investors stop ruining the game industry with their greed.
This industry need to be purged of investors who infiltrate the game industry with their greedy monetization practices as they suck the innovation and fun out of the last bit of entertainment we have left, these greedy bastards already ruined movie, comics, and TV shows.
