Jet Force Gemini coming to Switch Online + Expansion Pack in December

Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries lately. Although it varies which retro library gets updated, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is now guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month.

Well, tonight is no exception. You see, Nintendo has announced that Jet Force Gemini will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack’s Nintendo 64 library in December, though they didn’t give an exact date. You can see the official announcement tweet from Nintendo down below.

  1. Oh snap. Might renew my membership for this. Never owned it, but my friend had it when it came out, was surprisingly fun.

  2. I LOVE this game! Now, we just need every other Rare game. Though, I’d be happy with Diddy Kong Racing and Perfect Dark to start with.

  3. Why even bother with renting this on switch when you can literally buy it physically on xbox through rare collection bundle or the digital version separately without constantly paying for a subscription?
I literally got this for less than $10 on xbox and the entire rare collection can still be bought physically on Amazon.
Switch online + expansion is a joke and a scam.

      1. I’m stating a fact that when the switch online services go down you can’t play this game on switch at all.
It wouldn’t be an issue if they released this game physically on switch or at the very least allowed switch owners the possibilty to download and play it offline.
The fact that you are literally trying to defend this always online crap make one of the problems with gaming today and why majority of videogames are nolonger accessible to anyone because people like you happily and willingly pay to have options taken away from you.

    1. Can you tell me what this game is about,I’ve never played this game before on the Nintendo 64, I would love to try this game when the game comes out to the Nintendo Switch Online

      1. I heard some people saying that we probably only got it because in Japan it’s rated 18+ alongside Goldeneye. They didn’t want to release the NSO N64 18+ app with only one game, so they also added Jet Force Gemini to make it better

  4. This game is amazing, one of my favorite N64 games. It was so much fun to find the secrets in this game. They are similarly well hidden like in Banjo Kazooie/Tooie.
