Nintendo shares new Princess Peach: Showtime trailer & pastel pink Joy-Cons

Today, the curtain rises on the latest trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime!, coming to Nintendo Switch on 22nd March 2024. In her very own adventure, Princess Peach teams up with the Sparkle Theater’s guardian, Stella, to save the theatre from the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch. Using the power of Sparkle, Peach must take the stage of each show, transform, and confront Grape’s evil acting troupe. Each transformation gives Peach a dramatic entrance and the abilities she needs to take back the play, including two new transformations revealed today: Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach.

Get a first look at these new transformations in the latest trailer: Princess Peach: Showtime! – New transformations revealed! (Nintendo Switch).

Players will battle enemies from the footlights to the rafters, taking on the role of a swordfighter, a detective, a kung fu master, a patissiere and more. But this is no ordinary adventure – it’s going to take even more panache from Peach to bring this play to its triumphant final bow.

As Ninja Peach, she will call upon her sneaking abilities as she uses shadows, shrubbery and makeshift bamboo snorkels to surprise and thwart her enemies. In courses where you need to be a little more brash, Cowgirl Peach yee-haws into action. Her horseback-riding expertise is matched only by her deftness with a lasso, and you’ll need both to make sure Peach rides off into the sunset …or at least into the next scene.

Coinciding with the release of Princess Peach: Showtime! on 22nd March, Pastel Pink Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers will be available at select retailers and on My Nintendo Store.

  1. Pastel pink I wish these were more peach theme Nintendo already has a pastel pink joycon (the right joycon that came out last year I believe) that being said I would see more gameplay focus of the game.

    1. I wish these were actually Peach themed too and certainly not just like the pink Joy-Con that already came out. Perhaps they would not go that far for a game like this though. It’d be nice if most of the special Joy-Cons were like the Skyward Sword Joy-Cons and not tied to a whole console. It would also be nice if they sold the housings separately like they had done for the New 3DS. I’m still hoping for Metroid Prime Joy-Cons. The left one would be styled like the Varia Suit and the right one would be styled like the Arm Cannon.

  2. This game look’s absolutely amazing, i can’t wait to play it when it’s in the discount bin at Wal-Mart.
