I’ll wait until the ps7 is out and all 3 chapters are released and are bundled together so I can pick up FF7 and actually enjoy the full game.
Umm they’re not really “chapters”. Each game is a full experience and story in an overarching narrative. That’s like saying you’re not watching a Hobbit movie until all three release. But you do you I guess.
Of course, and while I’m at it, let me go play 1/3 of Persona 5, and play the next 3rd in 5 years, and then finally finish it 5 years after that. I’ll surely enjoy it that way.
Ahh sarcasm. So mature. I think you’re under an ignorant assumption that these games are just the FF7 story stretched out across three games, which is not the case. The story is greatly expanded and deepened. New subplots, new twists, deeper lore, etc. A full reimagining of the story as a trilogy. But sure if you want to wait and not enjoy these amazing games for a few years that’s your call. I’d advise against it though. As a lifelong FF fan, FF7Remake is easily top 5 for me. I love it more than the original. <3
If by “greatly expanded and deepened” you mean “they added a bunch of terrible padding and shitty side-quests to artificially extend the game’s length and justify splitting it into three parts”, then sure.
I bet you think that all the stuff with the plot ghosts in Remake was a masterclass in storytelling too, right?
So aggressive, yikes. Take a deep breath and have a nice cup of tea. Maybe try enjoying life and not going through it looking for the worst in everything, you’ll enjoy life much more. <3
LMAO, what an awful response. Way to not refute any of my criticisms and show how thin-skinned you are.
But sure, you go ahead and mindlessly consume product. Don’t worry about all that nasty critical thinking adults have to do, you continue acting like a child :)
So I’m not critical thinking unless I have your viewpoint and whine about everything? How bold of you to think that someone is brainless just because they enjoy something you don’t. You must be such a pleasant individual in real life.
Once again, you completely fail to address any points I made in my previous comments, instead just responding with the same passive-aggressive BS lmao.
Here’s a tip honey, if you can’t cope with people talking shit about your oh-so-beloved favourite game, then get off the internet lmao. You talk about me whining, when that’s literally all you’ve been doing on here. Please get some self-awareness lol.
Also, stop liking your own comments. It’s pathetic.
It was far better then the original FF7. What are you talking about?
I swear, some of you guys like to complain about everything. Ff7 Rebirth is going to be amazing.
Once again, a reply that addresses none of the criticisms I made and just mindlessly consumes products without any critical thinking.
No, it is not better than FF7. Remake completely butchered the first part of FF7’s story by adding a bunch of plot ghosts and trying to do some dumbass multiverse/time travel shit. They also completely ruined Sephiroth by inserting him into every scene possible instead of slowly building up to him like in the original.
Add to that the absolute mind-numbing padding sequences and side-quests that do nothing but drag out the game’s play time, and you’ve got youself an absolute stinker of a remake.
But like I said, any type of critical thinking seems to be too much for someone like you, who just likes to mindlessly consume corporate trash with a smile. Rebirth will likely be terrible too, so keep coping.
Lmao. The only one coping is you.
Nostalgia is making you irrational and you can’t accept that the remake trilogy is surpassing and replacing your childhood game.
You are in the minority here.
I have zero nostalgia for FF7 lmao, I didn’t even play it until a few years ago, nice try though. Just like the other fanboy in this comment section, you seem to enjoy making assumptions with zero evidence to back it up.
My opinions on the Remake have been purely critical, and I’ve flat out stated why I don’t like it.
You fanboys, on the other hand, have done nothing but post passive-aggressive replies that do nothing to counter any of my points, so it’s pretty clear that you are indeed the one coping very hard simply because I don’t like your trash game lmao
I also love how you see “being in the minority” as a counter-arguement, I guess I was 100% correct in assuming that you’re a mindless sheep who goes alone with the majority opinion because he lacks the brain power to form his own, huh?
Anyway, keep malding fanboy. You guys are hilarious :)
Nice story.
It is a nice story, isn’t it?
Unlike FF7 Remake’s trash heap of a “story” :)
Ahh you can’t seem to understand that I don’t want to play an unfinished story, and I’M the immature one. Sure, got it, and sorry all mighty one, if I had known that you were the only one that’s a life long FF fan, I would’ve played them them on release date to appease your greatness. 🙄
So sarcastic and aggressive still. Let’s take it down a few notches, okay? Can you do that for me? Or are you unable to control your emotions? I don’t recall claiming to be the only lifelong FF fan in the world, but okay. :) Smell ya later :) :) :) :) :)
The amounts of copeium and passive-agressiveness from your comments is unreal lmao.
I’ve not seen a brainless SE fanboy of your scope for a long time.
TIL I’m a brainless fanboy because I enjoy a game and not whine about it on forums. Good to know! Have a nice day! :) :)
Nah, you’re a brainless fanboy because you’re utterly incapable of looking at it with a critical eye, and get salty at people who “DARE” to criticise it. This literally started with you calling someone “ignorant” for having a correct assumption of what these games are (they ARE just FF7 stretched out across three games, with a bunch of badly done padding added to make each part a justifiable length, and you’re delusional if you think otherwise).
Keep copeing fanboy, lmao.
I wasn’t salty at first. The word “ignorant” just means you don’t know something. The game has so much more story than the original did in Midgar, shoot it even brings in Dirge of Cerberus content. Anyways, I am done wasting memories on you, have a nice life. I won’t be reading any replies, so feel free to call me a fanboy again or whatever if it makes you feel better about your own life choices :)
Except they did know what they were talking about, meaning you were actually the ignorant one in that exchange lol.
Your defence of it is that it brings in content from the worst FF7 spin-off game? LMAO
If the added content is utter garbage, then that’s not a defence lol.
Oh yes though, I’ll happily call you out for being a fanboy again, especially as it seems to enrage you so (to the point of bringing up my life choices, of which you know nothing about, for… some reason?)
Anyway, keep malding fanboy. It’s a lot of fun to see how hard people like you try to cope with criticism :)
The sarcasm seeps, but there’s no aggression, so please stop projecting, it’s becoming annoying. Now let me ask this before I stop responding to you. Because I am coming back to read your nonsense, I just won’t be responding anymore.
Why did you feel the need to respond to my comment? It clearly made you feel some type of way. And to elicit such an emotional response after clearly telling you, I wasn’t playing a game that you and I both know is not complete. And then clearly getting in your feelings after someone else told you that this game is full of fluff and filler (that I don’t know if it’s true) but his opinion is as valid as yours.
See, you aren’t changing my mind, no matter what your reasoning is, I’m waiting until the entire game is out. But you, you go out and buy Rebirth when it comes out, enjoy it, but please stop caring wether I play it not.
FF7 Remake part 2 is releasing roughly 4 years after FF7 Remake part 1, the average life expectancy of a console is 5.5 years. If anything FF7 Remake part 3 would most likely release at the end of the PS5 life cycle or not long after the PS6 releases.
From announcement to release, this does not include the prior development time they had. Announced in 2015, released in 2020 (late 2020 for that matter) and rumored to be in development since 2012. It took Tesuya this long While he was working on BOTH Kingdom Hearts 3 and FF7R on an engine that was already there. While working on Rebirth, all he had that was major work was Crisis Core, which was a remake of a PSP game. Do you k ow what he’s been named director of now? KH4 and FF7R Chapter 3. If you think FF7 Chapter 3 is coming out this generation or early next then I hope you don’t hold your breath for it. Not to mention that for them to even bundle them in a collection will take even longer.
