Nintendo has announced today that Super Nintendo World is set to open at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. The news was shared via social media and a number of mock up images of the park were shared by Nintendo of America. Fans will have to wait until 2025 for the attraction to open at Universal Orlando Resort, but the wait should certainly be worth it.
US: Super Nintendo World set to open in Florida in 2025

Screw you Nintendo for making me step even a foot in Florida 😖
Florida is the best state in America lol.
That is really sad if true.
Florida has the world’s greatest theme parks, amazing weather, great friendly people, the most freedom of any state in the country, low taxes, beautiful marinas, beaches, cities, varied wildlife and very clean compared to most bigger states. It’s an amazing state.
Oh really now? It does?
I don’t live there so maybe I’m not getting the full picture, but I’ve always really liked Florida whenever I’ve been on holiday there.
Never really understood why so many people hate the place.
Honestly, I think it’s just an online thing. Or to be more specific, a social media thing. Much like the JK Rowling stuff. A good majority outside of social media don’t give a rat’s ass. As evidenced by the fact HP stuff still makes money. Same with Pokémon, if we’re being honest, no matter how much of a glitchfest Scar-Vio was.
I’m just going back to the whole “to each their own” mentality. It’s much more peaceful.
Probably so. I hear a bunch of Crazy stories coming from Florida. For example, the man that tossed around a gator at a golf course. The man started a practice and was arrested for impersonating a doctor at the age of 18, Dr Love I believe. The man that tossed that gator through a drive through of a fast food place. The man that called the cops over a Mc Donald’s order and then tells them he has cocaine in his ass. The man that stabbed his sister with an EpiPen because he’s allergic to drunks. The man that pretended to be a fire cracker lol. The man with the emotional support python. And the list goes on. I know crazy things happen everywhere, but Florida just seems to always take the cake with the crazies lol
California, sadly, is just as “crazy” if you consider all the dumb crap coming from there. Twitter is based there. Sony’s gaming division, the actual games side of things because the consoles are still top tier, has went downhill when they moved there. Hollywood… enough said there. shrug Whatever. When something I once enjoyed turns to shit, I’ll just find something else. Honestly, if it was entertaining & not annoying, I wouldn’t give a shit.
But the point is we can’t judge an entire state on the crazies that live there. I’d strongly argue that is bigotry at one of it’s base levels: judging an entire group of people on the few bad apples.
Tbf, California just recently turned the way it is in the last 10-15 years, I also wouldn’t go back there (and that’s were I lived the first 19 years of my life). But you do have a point, and it’s wrong of me to make that assumption.
From Florida, it’s the Midwest that sounds the craziest. People really like to dismember their victims over there, in the brutalist of ways I mean.
Also don’t blame us, blame the Sunshine laws. That’s why you hear so many “crazy” stories. There’s plenty crazy going on around you but you just don’t know about it
Nintendo isn’t making you do anything.
I used to live in FL up until 2019, gonna gave to make a trip down there for this + Harry Potter part + LEGO Land here in a few years now :D
Once upon a time, Disney World was the theme park I wanted to visit in Florida. Now it’s Universal for Nintendo (especially), Harry Potter, and, hell, even Lego. Maybe one day. Or maybe not. 🤷 Depends on what z future holds.
(Yay! I can comment again!)
Were you banned?
No. I’m pretty sure the comment system was down. I hadn’t gotten a comment notification from here in hours last night.
This place may not be as busy as it once was, but it’s not as inactive to go hours without a comment, either. ESPECIALLY with the damn spambots running rampant all over the internet.
As a Central Floridian, I’ll be blowing out my wallet to get the primo year pass for this delight (and will have to make do with the crowds)
Also, it’s fine to hate Florida, 70% of states are worth hating. (Just look at Ohio.)
