Japanese sales tracker Famitsu has revealed the best-selling boxed video game in The Land of the Rising Sun during 2023. The critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom leads the way and you can see from the top ten down below that the best-selling games were all on the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Famitsu reports that $3 billion was spent on boxed games and hardware in Japan last year. The best-selling Nintendo Switch model was the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model)

idk man, considering it only had ~2-months on the market, 1.5 million seems pretty good to me.

Nintendomination. Only 2 3rd party games out of the 10. Most 3rd party games flop on Nintendo hardware. It’s nothing new, it’s always been like this.
