A new Pokemon Presents presentation was held this morning. If you’re a mobile Pokemon Trainer, then there was quite a lot of content here. If you’re more of a console gamer, however, there was one announcement of note that may be very interesting to you.
You see, the Pokemon Presents presentation came to an end with the announcement of Pokemon Legends Z-A. The game seems to be a sequel to Pokemon Legends Arceus. Not much is known about the game itself. The Pokemon Company says that “a new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon”. Mega Evolutions also seem to be teased. The game releases on the Switch in 2025. You can see the reveal trailer down below.

Or last gen only like Ultra Moon/Sun if the next console has no backwards compatibility, this is Nintendo after all.
I admit this was a surprise. Hopefully they polish the Legends formula because the first game was a great first draft.
Hot air and no real gameplay. I don’t buy it for now, Gamefreak.

I think the “A” might be related to the first letter of Arceus. The story might involve it.
Maybe they should work on the game instead of trailers that share almost no information.

Also there’s been zero official information on the switch 2 but apparently you’re all so confident that it’s a switch 2 game. People are so unbelievably irritating
Teasers are for companies that make good games, not ones that need to reestablish some faith with the consumer.
Teasers are for companies that need to tease their upcoming products, nothing more to it than that.
You seem to think that making a teaser trailer takes away from them working on the game for some bizzare reason, when in reality game development and game advertisement are two completely different areas in a company.
Try to actually think rationally rather than doing the whole angry man-child thing of finding issues with things that really aren’t an issue.
A teaser is meant to build hype. You can only do that if you have a good reputation where the announcement alone that you are working on a project is enough to get people excited. Game Freak doesn’t have that good reputation, in my opinion.

A teaser is indeed meant to build hype, and this teaser has done exactly that. Look at the comments on the announcement video, lots of people are thrilled to be getting another Legends game, especially one set in Kalos (one of the most underused places in the series). The teaser has, objectively, succeeded at it’s job. You personally not being hyped for it doesn’t change that. So no honey, I know exactly what a teaser is. You don’t seem to, however.

This nothingburger of a video may hype Pokemon fans but it doesn’t hype video game fans at all. And this is speaking from someone who enjoyed Legends: Arceus. But then the released the wet fart known as Scarlet and Violet so how am I supposed to know if the new Legends will be a good video game or a poor video game like most of their other Switch games?
You really shouldn’t be taking offense unless you like… work at Game Freak. I’d argue it’s way more immature to get mad at someone for disliking a video game you like than whatever you think I’m doing here lol

With that and people mad that a pokemon presents anounces a bunch of mobile and TCG stuff (which happens every year), you can kinda see most of them are not even that much into pokemon.
Ok I’m super hyped for this, I loved Legends Arceus
Set in the past of the Unova region would’ve been more interesting to me. A chance to see Kyurem before it split into 3 would’ve been great. As much as I loved Moon & Sun, I’d rather see that. shrug Meh.
