Princess Peach: Showtime demo now available

In a little more than 2 weeks from now, Princess Peach: Showtime will be releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has been gradually providing more details about the game since they revealed it in a Nintendo Direct last year. Of course, seeing it is one thing, but it’s another thing entirely being able to play it.

So, it isn’t surprising at all that Nintendo is giving fans an opportunity to try the game out before its release. The company has announced that a demo of the game is now available on the Switch eShop and at select retailers. You can see Nintendo of America’s official announcement tweet about the matter down below.

  1. Oh nice, this is perfect for me. I haven’t been too sure about this game yet, so a demo is exactly what I need to see if I’ll enjoy it

    1. Yes, exactly. They’ve only shown the transformations and a little gameplay, some more in the overview trailer. I was starting to get worried about what this game would feel like. I’m going to play the demo as soon as I can. Also, I really hope the cover art is Peach as she is in the game and not the movie.

  2. I’ll play the demo and form my own opinion, even if i supposedly have bad taste according to certain individuals on this website.

    1. There’s enough variety of games today for everybody to find something they enjoy. It’s really a shame when people still criticize other people’s tastes as “bad” when really it’s just different from their own tastes.

    1. The demo is somewhat short but each transformation stage level is kinda like in acts, you only get to play two transformation stages in the demo but it still feels like their stuff to do it’s pretty linear at first but it seems a bit like Luigi mansion format, the game is pretty fun and with trailer giving us a detail on challenge modes it seems like they thought of people who possibly thought this game might be super easy

  3. It is meh at best and I still stand to my opinion that Peach is not a fighter. It just feels so out of character for her. She is a manipulator and smooth-talker, but nothong else. Again, it feels so out of character to see her as a karateka or fencer.

    1. Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario RPG, 4 Smash Bros Games, Super Princess Peach, Super Paper Mario, Mario 3D World, Wonder, many sports and party games… She’s done a lot of fighting.
