Unicorn Overlord is a tactical RPG game released by SEGA and Atlus earlier this month. However, there hasn’t been much in the way of news from neither company on how the game has sold since its release. The only exception had been news from Japan that physical copies of the game had sold out around the country earlier a few weeks ago.

Well, that has now changed. It has been officially announced that Unicorn Overlord has sold over 500,000 units worldwide. The news came from an accolades trailer that was recently released by Atlus. Unicorn Overlord is currently available on PlayStation 4 (digital-only), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. You can see a tweet relaying the news down below.

  1. Hope it soars even higher on the positive receptions. It definitely deserves to. Vanillaware’s approach is the antitode to the woes plaguing the industry. Lead and made by people who actually love gaming.

  2. that’s impressive, i just wanna say “hahaha” to all the people who said the game has a stupid name.

    1. I mean I said it had a weird name and I bought it day one. What do want to say to me? Having a weird name isn’t inherently negative.
