Video game journalist Tom Henderson, who is generally absolutely correct when it comes to gaming leaks, has said on social media platform X that YouTube is currently investigating employees accessing the popular video site’s backend and leaking pre-release content. The issue is that video game leaks have been on the rise and many in the industry assume some of that is due to employees at YouTube who have access to pre-release content which is pending upload on the backend of the site. Henderson reports that two different investigations have taken place in the past 18 months by YouTube and a third investigation is happening fairly soon.
YouTube is apparently cracking down on backend video game leakers

Get-er-done!
This might be the first time in years I actually agree with something YouTube is doing.
this has to be about fortnite man, shit has nothing but leaks everywhere, the timeline of the next seasons and chapters got leaked and we know everything coming and their plans for at least a year
If it’s an internal investigation with no outside eyes helping with the investigation, don’t trust it. Not even if they find someone guilty of wrongdoing because scapegoats to protect someone higher up is a thing.
