Midori is stepping away from leaking games again

video games consoles

Prominent video game leaker Midori has announced once again that she is stepping away from leaking video game news and rumours. She said in a recent post on X that she “doesn’t want to post unannounced information anymore. But I will not be leaving.” She also reiterated to her fans that she “did not get caught” and just thinks it’s “good to stop here.” Hopefully she will rethink things in the future, if not, we wish her all the best.

  1. I prefer being surprised on Directs than seeing unannounced titles as leaked info. She’s doing the right thing.

    1. Kind of disingenuous to not explain that in further replies, Midori indicated that she’s leaving due to repeated harassment and attempts to try and dox her (apparently largely tied to ResetEra).

  2. The only people disappointed are the ones who rely on this person for news articles, so I think this eats at the people who post said articles more than it does for the readers, lol

  3. Didn’t Midori already say she was stepping down or retiring from leaking games, so this makes the 2nd announcement and yet they continue leaking information.

    1. The first time wasn’t because of leaks, it was because she believed she said something that hurt another leaker. That time she was done altogether.

This time though she says she’ll still around .

  4. I always take leaks with a grain of salt, so they don’t bother me at all. If anything, leaks just get me to tune into these events, so I can see the official reveal.

Maybe the ones getting upset with leaks are just too quick to believe them, so they end up ruining their own excitement if & when the leak turns out to be true.
