Nintendo has announced that it has been working on a brand new The Legend of Zelda game for the Nintendo Switch and this one is titled The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. The game sees you take the role of Princess Zelda as she goes is search of Link and is from a top down perspective similar to The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake on the Nintendo Switch. Fans can expect to see The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on Nintendo Switch on 26th September.

I am OVER THE MOON with this announcement. 9 years since last original 2D Zelda, and this looks perfect. Love the open ended problem solving also. Day one!

Looks like Tri gives you little triangles that allow you to make up to 4 echos at a time. Monsters take up 2, so you can only make 2 monster echos at a time.

That’s exactly what this is. It’s a BOTW-TOTK style 2D Zelda. The title is similar, the quest box is similar. Puzzles etc
