Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will support local multiplayer from day one of its Nintendo Switch launch on 17th July. The radical roguelike, formerly an Apple Arcade exclusive, has answered the call, and brought in a feature that fans of TMNT games have been insisting on since its reveal. Now players will be able to devour pizza and fight against evil as their favorite ninja turtle with people both online and in the same room.
“Upon popular demand, Super Evil Megacorp’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will feature bodacious 4-player local couch co-op on Nintendo Switch at launch! Dudes and dudettes will be able to grab their family and friends to join them in the fun with the all-new multiplayer feature!”

Couch co-op is under-appreciated and under-rated by these companies most the time. Sad it had to be an after thought forced by demanding players.
Am I really the only person that just kind of assumed it would be there from the beginning?
Why wouldnt it be a feature for a beat em up game known for a franchise that had co-op in it sinces TMNT the ARCADE game?
Not going to lie it seems like a lot of devs are moving away from couch co-op but I love it was brought back in full force with SOR4 and TMNT in the last couple years.
