The CEO of Weltrend Semiconductor, Inc, which is a Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer, has apparently stated that “orders for video game consoles will recover in the third quarter.” He says that this is down to “shipments of the new PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch models.” We already know that Sony is readying its PlayStation 5 Pro console, Microsoft has a new Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition model coming out, and obviously we are all awaiting the successor to the Nintendo Switch, which is expected to launch after March next year. The source of this information comes from MoneyDJ, which apparently has a fairly spotty track record, so take this with a grain of salt.
Rumour: Component supplier says mass production for new Switch model begins next quarter

This supports a Summer or Fall 2025 debut for the new hardware if true. Especially because Nintendo even stated they wanted to give the production period more time to counter scalpers by having enough supply for the customers this time around.
I’m guessing they will have enough time to get ready to ship more requirements for the system before launch day.
You mean units right ?
Yes.
Bloks.
Oof, how long do they want to drag it out? Probably penny pinching so they can get extra cheap (and more outdated) hardware by the time it releases.. Nintendo never fails to have the most gimped machine, at least since the Wii anyways. I mean even Dreamcast was a fairly strong upgrade over the competition when it released.
I expect first party games to look good at least, Mario Party on Switch still looks quite nice. Now the question is, will they still release the same old Mario Kart with little content? Or finally have some variety in it like Diddy Kong Racing has?
Mario kart 8 deluxe booster course supreme ultimate edition… Now adding 4 battle arenas…. From tour to mk8 …that’s it..
Forget this rumor… The next console is not a new Switch model….
Ah yes. Your “technical evolution” prediction.
