NateTheHate says Switch 2 has backwards compatibility

This year has seen a steady stream of rumors relating to the next console that Nintendo is releasing. So far, the company has said very little about the Switch successor. However, rumors earlier today are suggesting that that may not be the case for much longer. That said, that’s not the only Switch 2-related thing that has fueled speculation today.

You see, NateTheHate, a reliable leaker and insider, has made a post on Reddit saying that the Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility. He is not the first one to say this, as there has been a history of Switch 2 rumors saying the same. In fact, some have even gone as far as saying that the backwards compatibility will be for both physical and digital games. Nevertheless, nothing has been officially confirmed yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

    1. Tentri thinks that you are a bit of a dumbass

Maybe your parents would be more proud of you if you started getting a job instead of you know, spending your precious time in creating emails for a news blog about Bing Bing wahoo bro

    1. Starting to think you are the boomer larping as a zoomer, no zoomer would spell skibidi “Skibbidy” or Hawk tuah “Hucktuah”. It’s alright bro, we all get older at the end of the day.

  1. Backwards compatible and better controls. That’s all I need to make the the switch 2 my favorite console ever, would be amazing to grab this thing day one and fire up my old switch games with improved performances

  2. Physical BC I think at this stage is a given.
Its how Nintendo manage the digital transfer of content that worries me.

  3. It’s getting tiring this kind of “rumors” from sources whose reliability frankly leaves something to be desired…
And all this why? because we are in the month when the Switch was revealed, 8 years ago… it makes me think of the same rumors from the beginning of the year with the Nintendo Direct, they were all wrong except Pyoro (thanks to his internal source)
