The United States isn’t the only country in the world that has a Game Awards taking place every year. During Tokyo Game Show, there is a Japan Game Awards that is held there annually. Now that Tokyo Game Show is officially underway as of today, they have announced the winners of the 2024 Japan Game Awards.
What may surprise you is that Nintendo has won some awards, but not for games that they released this year. You see, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom took home multiple awards, including Best Sales Award and the biggest award of the show, the Grand Award. Menawhile, both The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Bros. Wonder receieved Awards for Excellence. You can see the full list of winners down below.
