A Spanish video game site named Vandal has recently published an article with input from the CEO of an accessory manufacturing company discussing information he claims to know about the Switch 2 system. The CEO says that Nintendo is aiming for a worldwide release in either March or April for the highly-anticipated hybrid console. This isn’t really information we haven’t heard before, so take it all with a grain of salt.
- Aiming at a worldwide release with enough supply to satisfy demand.
- The console is now ‘complete’.
- The leaked model is obsolete but not dissimilar to the final unit.
- The analogue sticks will be shaped differently (not compatible with the current analogue stick covers, nor will be possible to manufacturer new covers).
- Launch date is speculated in the industry to be March/April of 2025.

I don’t normally say something to you these days but this comment is in no way you saying this is a theory you have. “Called it.” is only ever used til AFTER you’ve been proven right. By saying this before anything has been proven, you are not making a theory AT ALL.
You called your shot, so stand by it. Don’t back down now because of some opposition. If you end up being wrong, own your mistake. If you by some chance end up being right… well don’t gloat too much.

I was hoping last week Thurs 29th, but that came and went and then thought possibly Thurs 26th, that’s gone. So we’re left with October…..when?… week 1, week 2, 3 or 4.
If there’s no light shed in October then it’s gona be Jan for sure at the earliest.
I just wanna see this thing in it’s true colours and then drool over it until next April or whatever date it’s gona be released!

As for me, I’m going to laugh the day the successor is presented, that it won’t be at all like the switch or the famous rumors, people will insult Nintendo because they won’t have made “the console of their dreams”

Whenever the Switch successor releases i just hope they have enough available units and don’t have to worry about scalpers like the PS5. Wonder if Nintendo will put a limit on how many units each consumer can purchase so they don’t have a shortage and not have enough available.
