You may recall that, a week ago, Nintendo had announced that Banjo-Tooie would be arriving on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on October 25th. As usual, the date was actually referring to Japan’s time zone, so October 25th in Japan would be late on October 24th or in the middle of the night for western regions, depending on the time zone.
Well, it isn’t surprising, but Nintendo has delivered on their promise. Banjo-Tooie is now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members to play. The game can be found on the Nintendo 64’s Switch Online library. You can see Nintendo of America’s official social media post relaying the news down below.

The sense of nostalgia it brings, like the engaging gameplay mechanics in geometry dash scratch invites both new and veteran players to explore its vibrant world.
it’s one of those games that still holds up for its charm and exploration. I’ve been bouncing between this and Escape Road lately, and it’s wild how both scratch such different but satisfying itches: one’s nostalgic adventure, the other’s quick reflex challenge. Nice balance.
That’s exciting news for classic gaming fans! Banjo-Tooie coming to Switch Online brings nostalgia and fun to a whole new audience. With the right promotion from an online marketing agentur berlingaming updates like this can reach far more fans.
Great to hear that Banjo-Tooie is finally available for Switch Online members—such a nostalgic classic! This update is definitely exciting for longtime fans of the franchise.
