Undertale and Deltarune creator Toby Fox shared the latest update on Deltarune Chapter 3 & 4 in a post on X.
“I’m very eager to show you what we’ve made since 6 years ago. Chapter 3&4 will 100% come out in 2025. The specific time is still relying on localization and console porting. Please hear me clawing at the door trying to escape the shallow coffin I have been buried in.”
The post confirmed that the duology of chapters will come out at some point next year, with the release window being dependent on how localization and porting efforts play out.
This follows another update from October 26, in which Fox shared that he’s been “working on Chapter 5 everyday” and that the next Deltarune newsletter is scheduled for late December.
Deltarune Chapter 1 & 2 are currently available as free downloads on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Drat. Was hoping they’d release around Christmas. Oh well. We’ve waited this long, I’m sure I can wait a bit longer
