Nintendo credits the growth of their IP to “the many people enjoying our games”

We are still gradually getting more details from what Nintendo has said in their latest quarter financial report. They spoke up a tiny bit about their next console, and also revealed how well Nintendo Switch Online is currently doing. However, those aren’t the only things they discussed. They also talk about the growth of the company’s IP.

In fact, president Shuntaro Furukawa said that “we believe that the growth of Nintendo IP has been due more than anything else to the many people around the world playing and enjoying our games. Nintendo has carefully crafted each title to align with the characteristics of the IP. This approach to software development has remained consistent since we first developed titles for Nintendo Entertainment System.”
