SEGA Genesis Classics is being delisted from digital storefronts next month

SEGA has surprised everyone by announcing it is delisting the handy SEGA Genesis Classics software from all digital storefronts. The compilation which has appeared on numerous platforms contains classic retro games such as Sonic Spinball, Dynamite Headdy, Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole, Streets of Rage series and Altered Beast. SEGA has not explained why it has now decided to remove the collection, but let’s hope that they have a new and improved one in the works. The SEGA Genesis Classics will be delisted at midnight on the 6th December.

  1. That sucks, that thing has been on the console for like 6yrs. Didn’t buy it full price, bought it when it was like $10, actually I don’t remember just that I didn’t pay full price. That being said if you want it now’s the time to buy it, might not go on sale and I wouldn’t wait for too long either.
