Stardew Valley has now sold over 41 million copies worldwide

It is no understatement to say that the immensely addictive Stardew Valley has been an absolutely massive success. New sales figures announced on the official site show just how enduring its success has been. The newly published figures have revealed that the hit indie game has shifted over 41 million copies globally across all platforms. If you are curious about how many copies the game has sold on the Nintendo Switch alone, it has now shifted over 7.6 million copies since it the game launched on the platform in October 2017.

“As of December 2024, Stardew Valley has sold over 41 million copies across all platforms, with over 26 million copies sold on PC, and 7.9 million copies on the Nintendo Switch.”

  1. That is retirement money right there. Wish I could make a game that sold a fraction of that and then fucked off to some cabin in the Pacific Northwest where I could chop firewood, smoke weed and watch cartoons.
