A brand-new trailer for the Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition game is here, featuring new details on what players can expect when the sci-fi RPG launches on March 20. Originally available on the Wii U system, this definitive version of the game comes to the Nintendo Switch system with enhanced visuals, added story elements, new characters, new Skell mechs to unlock and more.
The year is 2054. Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war between two alien races, and humanity is on the brink of annihilation. A small number of survivors, aboard the USS White Whale, crash land on the vast and untamed planet Mira. Now it falls to you, as a member of the New Los Angeles colony’s BLADE organization, to help bring humanity back from the edge of extinction.
Mira is a sprawling alien world filled with vast oceans, expansive grassy plains, towering mountain ranges, exotic jungles and more – each with their own secrets to discover and threats to face. Move seamlessly around the surface of the planet and explore many huge areas, watch their ecosystems come to life, and encounter a range of unfamiliar, gargantuan beasts that can be battled to gain valuable resources. Once you have proven yourself to BLADE, you can even unlock your own Skell: a powerful exoskeleton that can fly, transform into a vehicle for fast overland travel and wield immense strength in combat.
Players who purchase the digital version of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store before April 6 will receive the in-game Exploration Support Pack. My favorite Xenoblade. Let’s hope it gets a boosted version on Switch 2!
And this could be the announcement that was being rumoured, honestly… I ain’t mad!
I’m excited for Xenoblade Chronicles X because I found it to be one of my favourite games on Wii U, along side NintendoLand, ZombiU (The DEFINITIVE Zombi Game) and Splatoon.
Will be interesting to see if they decide to give us a reveal near the end of the month or the beginning of February because I can see a September release date, but they could still go with April, which will be nuts.
Never played the original, looking forward to the release.
I’m going to be honest… I bought this on Wii U, played it for a bit, and quit because I was turned off by the music.
I will definitely try it again.
For pretendo nobody, you sure as hell don’t know about video games.
I’m a toilet licker
Oh is it my turn now? Neat.
But why say that while also using my name? You’re basically admitting that you yourself are the one who “drinks Blah’s puke”.
I mean, if you’re into that sorta thing then go off ig, I know you’ve also got a thing for licking toilets apparently.
CFG and Tentri think harassment of devs because of terminally online gamers hating characters does not exist to them
Yes we’re aware, you already said this on the other Xenoblade X article.
Plays like xenoblade 1… I’m so sold on this
“Oh no, I can’t have boobie slider!”
If it was in the original version, it should be in this version. No exceptions.
If it’s not a big deal, why remove it in the first place? We don’t want our games censored!
It’s a character creation thing & alot of people want to create themselves (or close to it) with said creator. So yes! It’s 100% okay for people to get pissy over the lack of a breast slider and when said slider doesn’t allow them to create a flat chest. Honestly, anyone that truly supports women & transpeople should be against a censored boob slider. But some people are idiots. Considering this comment, I’m leaning towards you being one such idiot. Question is… left or right? Because it seems anyone with a take like this is a political minded idiot to begin with.
It’s rated T for Teen, anyway, so to hell with those little kids. The parents shouldn’t be buying this game for their little kid if they don’t want them exposed to stuff like a boob slider, anyway. (Or should be more observant of what their little kid buys if they actually give them money.)
Then why are you here?
Not liking the fact Nintendo is doing “day 1 preorder DLC bonus” crap.
