The gaming world is slowly beginning to digest Nintendo‘s first ever look at their next console, the Switch 2. That said, one lingering thing that some gamers have been worried about is how easy it will be to purchase one. It hasn’t helped matters that the supply chain issues that plagued consoles like the PlayStation 5 years ago is still fresh on people’s minds.
Fortunately, a new Bloomberg report suggests that Nintendo is very aware about it. According to Bloomberg, Nintendo has prepared a supply chain network that will allow the company to sell more than 20,000,000 Nintendo Switch 2 units in its first year. While it isn’t a massive jump compared to its predecessor, it may help deter scalpers. The Switch 2 is slated to launch later this year.

I hope the Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t as hard to get as the PS5 was, the PS5 was the most difficult game system to find I’ve ever purchased.
This is unlikely since the shortages of ps/x were due to a lack of semiconductors due to the shutdown of manufacturing lines…
Unless there is a major event, there will be something for everyone !
For me it was the Wii. The system was out for 2 years by the time 2008 hit, but it was still being sold out within minutes of a restock.
Honestly, I was in a tough struggle on getting my original Switch when it first launched in 2017 and most of the stores was sold out. It was completely dry. But, I did manage to order it off on Amazon as a backup plan.
I heard Switch was hard to get at a certain point, but it was actually really easy to get it when it first launched. People weren’t taking the thing seriously, and I was able to casually order mine online.
I remember during the start of the pandemic, early 2020 when Animal Crossing released, it was a bitch and a half to get a switch. Took me months to find one.
I’m very curious about the new joycons designs and it’s functionality. You know…drift. I never expected them to give the system a number in their announcement trailer. I knew they will shadow drop the trailer for it.
do we have any info on the price?
That’s what I’m wondering about myself. It will be sold out by launch day just like the original system.
why are you even on this site then
For those who love technique. I found this on the technical specifications of the console (to be taken with a pinch of salt, I don’t know if SCKR has seen it but…)

So after weeks of shitting on leakers, and saying “Unless confirmed by Nintendo, it’s false information.” Now you’re hoping into the bandwagon and posting up rumors as well? 🤣
As I said, I am content to relay what I saw, since here you believe anything… on my side, I don’t believe it as long as there is nothing official
Hmmm… 20-series? Ampere is 30-series.
Scalpers in shambles rn :D
I hope it’s enough. Hopefully nobody has to turn to scalpers to get one of these things.
Just means scalpers will buy millions of them.

So where are the ones that said “it is not called Switch 2” at? Huh? They are going to call it something else.
I remember the first Switch showcase 8 years ago, January 12th 2017. I went to GameStop the next morning at like 7am and sat in my car for hours until opening to pre-order one. I was 4th in line out of maybe 25-30 people so mine was guaranteed. Locked in on my Switch, Zelda BotW, and Super Bomberman R.
Deep breath The nostalgia I just had writing that out…
