Japan: SEGA trademarks Skies of Arcadia and Eternal Arcadia

SEGA has issued a batch of new trademarks for the classic Skies of Arcadia which is known as Eternal Arcadia in the Land of the Rising Sun. The company has said previously that it intends to delve into its extensive back catalogue of video games. Skies of Arcadia was originally released for the SEGA Dreamcast in 2000 and has yet to receive a port or a remasters other than the GameCube version!

  1. I’m not going to get my hopes up but it would be awesome if we get either a new game or a remake or a remaster of Skies of Arcadia.

Actually it got a remake in 2002 named skies of arcadia legends.

  2. “And hasn’t received a port or remaster yet” uh.. the gamecube tells you ”hello’ Sickr ^^’

If it’s true that a remaster is coming, my husband will be happy^

    1. Predatory monetization? Maybe I missed it, but I don’t remember hearing anything other than it’s going to be a LSG. And not all of them are bad. As much as people hate CoD and Fortnite, they both play for free and completely fine.

  5. If they do Skys of Arcadia please do it from ground up. I like the remake on Gamecube (which i completed) but there are tweaks the can be made.

  6. One of my favorite rpgs of all time, and it’s criminal we haven’t gotten anything from it since the GC port.
The dream would be a remake, followed by a sequel. I’d be happy with anything, really. There are a ton of gamers out there who have no idea this game exists and would really appreciate it.
