The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Closed Network Test, which was exclusive to PlayStation 5 owners, was seemingly a big success for SEGA and fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise giving gamers a healthy taster of what to expect from the game when it launches later this year. Today, the Sonic Team has revealed which three characters proved to be the most popular amongst those who participated in the Closed Network Test. Naturally Sonic came in first with Shadow at No.2 and Cream and Cheese coming in at No.3.

Because driving a vehicle is fun. Sonic lives for adventure, and what he enjoys is widely varied because of that. Not to mention he also enjoys a fair competition, so vehicles and the extreme gear level the playing field.
This isnt available on the weak switch correct? Or will it run at 30fps 360p?

As stated in previous racers; Sonic decides and volunteers to drive so that he is on equal ground to his competition so that the racer may be fair

Was surprised cream was used that much considering she tends to be overlooked cause of the Genesis characters
I think it has more to do with her curious absence from Team Sonic Racing 6 years ago than anything else, as she was for some reason omitted from Team Rose with a random group of Chao taking the third spot of the trio.
