4 SNES games coming to Switch Online next week

It didn’t quite start out that way, but Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries for quite a long while now. Although it varies which retro library Nintendo decides to update, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month.

Well, Nintendo has officially announced some more additions, though they’re not releasing just yet. Nobungaga’s Ambition, Nobungaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness, Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire and Uncharted Water: New Horizons are going to be available for Nintendo Switch Online members to play on March 28th. All of them will be in the SNES’s retro game library. You can see Nintendo of America’s official social media announcement post about the matter down below.

    1. Amen dude. These selection fucking suck. Hand it to Nintendo to slash all the emulator stuff and then come out with these bullshit games no one has ever heard of or gives a shit about

  1. There’s so many great snes titles. What’s with these obscure games no ones heard of or cares about? Wtf nintendo? Not renewing
    At this rate

  2. For those that like Fire Emblem, this is a game you should definitely try.

They’re very niche, but it’s because of how difficult they are. These take the simple Rock Paper Scissors gameplay that Fire Emblem have, and dial it to 100. Not because of the difficulty per se, but because of the extreme management that’s required to play efficiently. For example, you have your army that fights for you (ala fire emblem) but they’re efficiency is dependant on their moral, and their moral is based on how good of a ruler you are. You can make decision like increase taxes for your country to get more money for weapons, but their loyalty drops and thus reflects on their fighting. It’s a really on hands game that have gotten more in depth as time has passed, but they’re extremely rewarding when you get the hang of it.

It’s not a game for everyone, but man are they fun if you do enjoy the chore.

  3. Paris – The most honest site to play money for French players (Beginner Bonus Package – Bonus 100% on first deposit up to €5,000 + 100 FS).
