Nintendo has announced through the recently announced and released Nintendo Today app that The Legend of Zelda live action movie will launch on 26th March, 2027. There were no other details mentioned, but all eyes will be on the casting and the eventual trailer.

after all the hype behind the third sonic movie one could think that it was going to break box office records but it only surpassed the detective pikachu and after three movies you can tell that the franchise already reached the roof, of course the smb movie sequel has the task of being a good movie (compared to the first movie the bar isn’t really that high) and showing that the series can attract movie goers like the first movie and zelda really has the challenges of proving that they can handle the franchise in live action while respecting what made the games so appealing.

that being said, sonic has big a chance to out do zelda. Zelda is a top nintendo series but its not on mario level at all. The trailer will have to sell it
