SEGA has unveiled the official Sonic the Hedgehog character render for the hit franchise’s 35th anniversary which takes place next year. The new render was unveiled today by way of a look at the official Sonic the Hedgehog 35th anniversary calendar, which displays various Sonic-themed game art from 1991 to the present.

Sonic’s Quills looks so straight and bad, the in game models also now have more detail than the renders, I hate how Modern Sonic Looks now, get rid of the Sonic The Hedgehog 4 render design I hate it. His Quills should have more curve no matter what. In my opinion they should be longer as well. Horrible image
He looked best in Sonic 2.
I feel like we haven’t had good 3D renders for Sonic in so long that seeing him in this new pose is all it took to make me smile, lol

Yes that time of year again. Shadow should be in the red chaos emerald.
They are going by fur/quills color, while Shadow has some red in his quills he mostly have a black fur.
They aren’t going to put him in the red one.
Plus if there was a better/proper emerald for Shadow it can really only be the blue one (because it’s his favorite color), the purple one (because apparently that’s his favorite emerald) or the green one (as the one he uses the most)
Anyone else notice the characters are in their favorite emerald colors? (With the exception of Sonic and Rouge, since Sonic isn’t in an emerald and Rouge never stated her favorite)
