Nintendo has confirmed that, indeed, we are getting enhanced versions of Nintendo Switch 1 games. Among the games announced are Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Super Mario Party Jamboree, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pokemon Legends Z-A, and much more. However, keep in mind that you will need to purchase an upgrade pack for them. You can see a trailer of Super Mario Party Jamboree’s Switch 2 upgrade down below.
Switch 2 Edition games announced, requires buying upgrade pack

No mention of how much the upgrade is?
If it’s more than $10 I’m out.
It’s dlc in disguise… I hope that from 1 . It will be cheap and 2. that the purchase will be worth it because if it’s just 4k 60fps on top of that, I say NO !
Selling performance as DLC is disgusting…
Like I’m already paying for the new console and I paid for the game already and now they want me to buy an “upgrade pass” just to utilize the new hardware I buy.
So gross.
Just like what Sony has been doing…
It’s not “selling performance” most of the games are giving you brand new content and new ways of playing the games that all takes development time and cost to produce and implement. Not gross at all. Also the thing you didn’t bother to look into before you got all upset about it is that for the Zelda games at least these are free for NSO expansion pass subscribers
Something not mentioned in the Direct, is that the BotW and TotK upgrades are included in NSO+, just FYI
