Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that Level-5 is planning to bring their long-awaited next entry in the Professor Layton series, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, to the Nintendo Switch 2. The game is also still in development for the original Switch system, so if you aren’t planning to upgrade straight away you will be safe. It is not clear if Level-5’s other titles in development will also land on Switch 2.

Given that Fantasy Life i looked in a pretty bad state on the Switch in the most recent Direct hopefully that will have at least some performance upgrades on the Switch 2!

Would like to play Curious Village again but I’d have to delete a save file. Same for the next three games… gah.
