  1. I think, I would place Double Dash on 1. place.🤔 But I would need to play it again to be sure. Haven’t played it since Gamecube days.

  2. Anyone who enjoys Mario Kart i recommend trying “Hot Rod Mayhem” certain reviews call it a Mario Kart clone.

  3. Double Dash should be at the bottom, pointless gimmick that adds nothing of value to the game and some of the worst physics in the franchise.

    Utter trash.

      1. Aww, is the pathetic little manchild upset that I (rightfully) trashed his favourite game?

        Keep crying honey 😂

  4. When it comes to Mario Kart it’s always the case of the newest version being the best version, similar to Smash Bros.

  5. Toad Main since 2006 (Tentri)

Guy above me is a bit too harsh, I think the gimmick is kinda fun but yeah, vastly prefer having control to everything without being too complex, always thought double dash was a bit too overrated, everyone praises that gimmick a bit too much, I think the standard kart mechanic of Mario kart is already perfected since Wii
    Here is my top 3:
    Mario Kart 8 deluxe
    Mario Kart Wii
    Mario Kart DS

  6. They screwed up this franchise, it could have been so much more.

64 was good, lacking a bit but forgivable for the time.. then along came DKR which blew it away.

Only Mario Kart DS tried anything “new” with Mission Mode, and then they even took that away for every single release since.

This new MK is literally the same game again just with more racers. Where’s the fleshed out single player mode, or even some co-op style play?? Nintendo just went the safe boring route.. again.

    1. Have you not watched anything on the new game? There’s so much shit in there for single player! You can adventure around the entire world between the tracks, that’s going to be a blast secret finding!

I think maybe you should take a break from looking at the new one for a while and come back to it when it releases. Maybe you’re just being bombarded too much by the piece meal news to appreciate the newer shit.

    1. For anyone trashing Double Dash in these comments. Hear this. It’s the most realistic Mario Kart. Between the back partner having to push it to get going at the start, to the karts actually behaving like karts and not CARS. Not to mention some of the best music and tracks in the series.

      1. Ah yes, because realism is the thing we’re looking for the most in a game with plumbers, dinosaurs and turtles hitting each other with shells and banana peels.

Wii’s physics are 1000x more satisfying and 8 has much better courses and music.

Double Dash is “mid” in every definition of the word.

        1. Look dude, have a preference all you want, but there’s not an entry in the series that’s mid. They all play great and they all have good parts and bad parts.

We should be talking about what we like about each different entry, not shitting on each other’s favorites simply because it isn’t your favorite.

The negativity everyone feels inclined to bring to everything fucking blows.

  7. Double Dash will always be my favorite, really looking forward to the new one though! Daisy is my favorite character, so it’ll be nice to have some visual variety for her in this entry, where she’s only ever a side character.

There’s no such thing as a definitive Mario Kart list. Your favorite is going to be the one with the best memories attached. Period. There isn’t a bad entry.
