Video game leaker eXtas1stv is delightfully teasing that Spyro the Dragon 4 is set to be showcased at the Xbox Games Showcase which is on Sunday at 9am PT / 6pm UK time. A new Spyro game has been rumoured for a while and with the popularity of 3D platformers is a given. The same source says that Double Fine’s next game will also be shown at the event with their last game being the excellent Psychonauts 2.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy came out on Switch. It’s not outside of realm of possibility that the fourth installment could come out on Switch 2. Simple as that.
It’s possible, but if we had to make a list of all the ‘possible’ upcoming games, we wouldn’t finish with just the Rare games… For me, this involves a competitor and not Nintendo, especially since I’m still waiting for Microsoft’s so-called ‘massive support’ for Nintendo…
If Spyro 4 comes out, it’s going to release without a doubt on switch 2, it’s pretty Nintendo related news to me
Would rather Vicarious remake the trilogy again TFB was never a good studio to me and they ruined Crash. Just call Bob Rafei and revive Crash N Burn.
Studio might not be good, but i thought the spyro remake was fantastic. Spyro on ps1 was my first ever 3d game, so it holds a special place in my heart. The remake was just the best thing ever as it was faithful to the original, like 99% carbon copy.
I miss the VV name. “Blizzard Albany” is not the same. Still sad we, I mean they didn’t get around to completing DJ HERO 3DS. It was awesome!

Traingle .. in know for sure there comes a big sequel from spyro 3, to spyro 4 who looks on spyro 1 and 2
