France is Nintendo’s biggest market in Europe so it is no surprise to hear that the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2 shifted big numbers there. While we don’t have official number from Nintendo just yet regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 launch as a whole, data fan Pierre485 claims that Nintendo sold over 200,000 units, which would make it the fastest-selling console in the country. Sony’s PlayStation 5 was the previous record holder, though it should be noted that specific system was severely supply constrained. Unsurprisingly, the actual attach rate for Mario Kart World was reportedly over 95%. All we need now if official worldwide sales from Nintendo.
