Surprisingly there weren’t a lot of Nintendo Switch 2 announcements at the Xbox Game Showcase yesterday However, one game which we know is coming to the platform is Call of Duty. The Redmond-based company announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 at the event which is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. A reporter for Kotaku says that Microsoft and Nintendo are working together to get Call of Duty up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and will announce something concrete in the future.

Just give us Perfect Dark, but also, if they could port Flight Simulator i would be so happy. But a Cpu-heavy game so possible it won’t happen.
As I was saying at one time.. those who talked about Microsoft’s ‘massive support’ for Nintendo are just blowhards.. and I stand by that once again!
It will happen. They’re releasing their games everywhere. Switch 2 has only just come out. Give it time.
“It will happen,” we always hear that, I’ve noticed… Yet nothing is stopping them from announcing games that will be released next year, for example. However, we haven’t heard anything during both the Switch 2 Direct and the Xbox showcase yesterday! So for me, the so-called “massive support” does not exist, that’s all.
Nintendo is probably just trying to get them to compress their games so it doesn’t take up the Switch 2’s entire storage 😭
Activision is crying as they slice up the Warzone from the cartridge and managed to get BOP 7 running on a Cartridge instead… they’re crying because it means they gotta pay Nintendo for the 64GB
Announce a Direct for this week already! Switch 2 has no game let’s get some for this year!
Look, the simple truth is that the CPU gap between current consoles and Switch 2 is much larger than the CPU gap between Switch and PS4. A new CoD can’t possibly run at 60 FPS on Switch 2, nor can games like RE9 run at all. Sticking with 8nm was the nail in the coffin. They needed to hit 2GHz on the CPU but couldn’t even get halfway there.
Switch 2 will be great for ports of last-gen games, but most current games are out of reach.
Uhhh what do you know about it?!
A little clarification on the side: the CPU of the Steam Deck runs much faster than that of the PS4, yet it is less powerful than it… Similarly, the comparison between the Steam Deck and Switch 2 clearly shows that the latter is superior… Relying on CPU speed and manufacturing precision to judge a console’s ability to run certain games clearly shows that you don’t know much about it.
