Hollow Knight: Silksong made a very brief appearance during the Xbox Game Showcase yesterday as it is launching on Xbox Game Pass alongside the newly announced ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming device. Matthew Griffin, who is head of marketing at Team Cherry has said that the long-awaited game will be arriving on multiple platforms before the holiday season. All eyes will be on the inevitable trailer.

Seems like the marketing for this game has been ass tbh. I’m sure it will be a really well made game but it’s gotten to the point where they’ve talked about this game so much without showing shit and I feel like that’s kinda disrespectful of people’s time.
The marketing has been perfect.
not really, people talk nonstop about it. even the 5s trailer made more noise online then most games.

That’s been my issue. It may be effective in that they’re letting things bubble and people are talking, but I don’t appreciate that it’s been 5 years of drip feeding tidbits. Even GTA 6 had a shorter turn around time from announcement to release than Hollow Knight Silksong I mean come on.
