US: Nintendo Switch 2 is now the fastest-selling Nintendo hardware

The Nintendo Switch 2 seems to be doing particularly well the world over with sales strong in most territories. IGN asked Nintendo how well the system in doing in the United States which is historically a good market for Nintendo. They were informed that the system is now the fastest-selling Nintendo hardware in the United States to date in the four days following its release. The console launch has seen it selling roughly twice that of the original Nintendo Switch in most regions. Let’s hope that sales continue this momentum going forward.

  1. I agree, let’s hope the momentum is still strong, maybe not like the Switch but as strong despite the Switch 2 current flaws. I myself have gotten one and it’s set up just waiting on my memory cards to arrive.

  2. I’ll never understand these stats – Announcing a console is the fastest selling is one thing, but given the console is out of stock for most, if not all, markets, it’s fair to assume stats would be significantly higher

  3. This is scaring Sony its too late for them but they’re still with their arrogant mind set
Switch 1 delivered so fans are coming back for Switch 2 unlike PS5 to the eventual PS6 which will flop. Some people are so desperate for games they need it even the hater pony audience bought in for Mario Kart they need games bad and they don’t have it. Wolverine I’m starting to think got canceled. Also the only games on PS5 are games Microsoft is funding.
