  1. Anonymous Skywalker

Not newsworthy to the normies but ultra giga news to the fans. That being said I am definitely interested in the release date despite not having played Hollow Knight.

  2. What is even a Silksong at this point?

Amazing how people still have goodwill (or maybe just like putting on the clown makeup) towards Team Cherry for the disastrous marketing and delays of this title. If it was another developer, people would be already crying blood murder.

    1. What are you even talking about? They are just taking their time with this game. Hollow Knight is a masterpiece and they can take as long as they need with this one, they don’t owe us anything, it’s not our game

      1. Taking their time? It’s the only thing they do in life.

Also they literally owe people everything. Silksong was the last Kickstarter goal which they still not honored until they decided to make it a separate game. Guess you don’t even know the story of this game

        1. Granted, I didn’t know this whole game was somehow promised as part of the original hollow knight Kickstarter. I don’t know if they put a time-frame on it, but if not then they haven’t done anything wrong. Why are you calling people clowns and referencing memes when they are just excited and patiently waiting for hopefully a great game? We all know what happens when games get rushed out. Shiggsy said something about delayed games being eventually good

          1. The clown makeup is yet another meme, yeah. But, at this point, I have to doubt people’s sanity considering that:

-Silksong is their only project and it’s been delayed to hell and back for no reason at all.
-Team Cherry is notoriously bad at communication.

I’d say that the “Deadpool joke” at SGF was extremely mean-spirited and TC going all high-and-mighty with “WE TOLD YOU, WE ARE NOT TIED TO A CONSOLE RELEASE” are definite proofs they don’t care about the fanbase.

Plus people take Miyamoto’s sentence way out of context. Remember Duke Nukem Forever? Delayed to hell and back, then it was released a very bad game and it’s still like that. If the rumors about Silksong being simply shadow-dropped are true, what’s even the point?

    2. Totally disagree. It’s been genius marketing. Everyone is talking about it. The slightest mention of it makes headline news.

      1. Everyone who? The fans who still insist on putting the clown makeup?

Even the SGF got in the fun with the Deadpool trailer. But I guess I see who are the ones who still think Team Cherry are gods or something.

        1. I don’t think you realize that Team Cherry is a tiny studio of 3 people trying to make an entire game that lives up to the standard they set with the original Hollow Knight. It just going to take them longer than a corporate studio that has 100 developers and a dedicated marketing team, etc.
