Fans of the excellent Tales of franchise will be pleased to learn that the next Tales of remaster for consoles and PC is the well received Tales of Xillia. The news was leaked accidentally by Bandai Namco Europe who uploaded a video that appears to be slated for the 18th August. The screenshot for the video shows that the next game is Tales of Xillia. The game should be revealed by Bandai Namco on Monday.

I was hoping for Tales of the Abyss, but this is fine too.

Seems like it. They did the same with Symphonia as well.
The difference is that Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the new world is an escort title, not a mothership title. Tales of Xillia 2 should eventually be remastered if Xillia 1 comes out.
True true true. I was more so talking about the Symphonia twins already being bundled back on the PS3/360 generation, and then separated on this/last generation.
In theory, Chronicles should keep existing.
All I want is a better version of Abyss. I had a feeling the next one would be Xillia so didn’t get my hopes up but still disappointed.
I’m kinda confused, so does this mean they will announce Tales of Xillia on the 18th or it releases on the 18th.
