At Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, SEGA premiered a new trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds confirming that Pac-Man will soon be joining the race. The iconic Bandai Namco-owned character and an inspired track will be released in “early 2026” as part of the Season Pass DLC included with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, as well as available for purchase separately. Additionally, a Sonic-themed DLC pack will be released for PAC-MAN World 2 Re-PAC sometime in “late 2025.”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches for Switch on 25 September 2025 (Switch 2 version at a later date).
PAC-MAN World 2 Re-PAC launches for both Switch and Switch 2 on 26 September 2025.
