Mortal Kombat II film delayed to 2026 

Bad news for Mortal Kombat fans as the upcoming Mortal Kombat II movie has now been delayed from its original 24th October release date to 15th May, 2026. Some on you will naturally be wondering why Warner Bros. has decided to push the movie’s release so far back. Well, the movie is expected to deliver a lot more views in mid-May than staying in the crowded late October frame. Deadline states that research screenings have been strong for the sequel.   1. Why even make a sequel to a flop? In addition without the Russia box office it limits the money they’ll make and most countries like China banned Mortal Kombat. You guys hear the Injustice 3 rumors even worse new rumor is that will be free to play so once again Ed Boon drags DC to be his testing grounds for Mortal Kombat because if he tries it there then it ends up putting the franchise in the coffin. Just let Mortal Kombat die already 11 was the end it’s clear Netherrealm has no talent shut them down.
